Yesterday I was out shopping with Jen when I came across Ride bindings in a store. I found myself a set of LX while Jen was trying on boots.
My old bindings are awesome, and I love em but they started showing their age last year. Based on that, I got the current version of the same model. Win.
My stretched lobes are infected; sigh. It’s the usual … bacterial shit I get occassionally on wide or deep wounds. I guess the area and type of stretch counts as one of those, somehow.
So, I’m off to a walk-in clinic. Fun!
Over the weekend I finished stretching my ears to 0g with a very nice pair of coco wood tapers. One ear is slightly infected, from lack of proper cleaning. Oh well, in a week or two I’ll swap the tapers for some nice plugs or tunnels.
Fucking awesome.
Stretching my ears to 0g kinda hurts. The daily rip is what sucks; not the throb that follows.
Gym of course; gime is one of my favorite Homerisms. I’ve been slowly integrating my iphone into my day to day lifestyle and today while I was waiting on my laptop to boot (hdd chkdsk that took forever) I discovered iFitness in the AppStore. It’s a database of exercises with pictures and the ability to track progress; perfect!
I setup my workout and entered my stats from yesterday. I’ve only been going once or twice bi-weekly lately; so lazy. I’m going to be using this to stay motivated and track my progress. My left shoulder/arm has been feeling great lately. I’ve added a marginal amount of weight since the spring but have started a few “new” (old) lifts. My general plan is to get back to what I was doing prior to the accident, and I’m on track with that still.
