I revised the Javascript today so the trigger is handled differently and IE hovers. Both IE and Safari are giving me grief in different ways; atleast Firefox is rendering as it should.
Yesterday I was out shopping with Jen when I came across Ride bindings in a store. I found myself a set of LX while Jen was trying on boots.
My old bindings are awesome, and I love em but they started showing their age last year. Based on that, I got the current version of the same model. Win.
I got confirmation of my bonus today, so I went a head and ordered a Pentax DA* 50-135mm. I’ve been lusting after this lens since it was announced, and now my DA* 16-50 will have a companion.
It also happens to be the most useful focal range for the type of commercial photography I’ll probably be starting at; which makes it a great business tool.
That’s what my camera needed to attain perfect focus. I decided I should tweak the focus today so I looked into the process of unlocking the debug menu in my camera; did a little testing and finished with a shift of 100uM forward.
I’m pretty blown away by the difference. It’s like taking a shitty filter off a great lens.
I’ve rewritten the javascript to be cleaner and faster. The update also includes bookmarkable urls and smart anchors. Now I need to start on the content.
It’s in VB.net, which kinda isn’t my language of choice. The object holds our weather data in a read only list in application memory which repopulates itself every 30 mins. Pretty simple, but still nice to complete.
It’s pretty inconsistent and manual is so easy.
It’s taken a few months, but the algae is finally declining. I might get corals shortly after christmas.
I registered and setup a simple webpage for my portfolio at jasonmulligan.com. This is essentially v0.1 and will be fleshed out to be much more stylish.
