Johnny Cupcakes steals a tshirt design from a friend
I think it’s rather lame to call attention to having a design lifted, and then steal a very distinct type for use on your own clothes without so much as changing it a little.
Onetwentysix’s blog entry has examples. In my opinion it clearly shows how someone (who probably submitted the work to Johnny Cupcakes) took a few of his hand drawn examples which have been on flickr for quite awhile and slightly modified a few letters; and put it all together.
Jon almost did the font for my neck tat, but he didn’t have enough time to meet my nearly instant deadline. He suggested the pimp font I wear now. His work is too unique to be stolen, it’s easily recognizable as his.
