attack eleven

A usual Townehouse night

Jen came by around 8. I had smoked a pinner before she arrived, so I was already in a pre-party mood. She brought a big Heineken champagne bottle so we drank from flutes and played guitar hero. I tried the dlc I got from Live and rocked the Dropkick Murphys song.

Around 10pm we left for the bar. I noticed Dave as we entered and he joined us by the pool tables, where we sat for most of the night in a rotation almost. The bar filled up with people wearing sweaters and blazers; some kind of theme night by the new college/university kids, or something. A bunch of friends showed up over the night and it was great. Leah and Sarah were the last to arrive I think. I hadn’t seen Sarah in like, 5 years I think. Too long. Everyone had a camera it seemed, so lots of drunk pics. Dave got one of me pissing in the bathroom. It seemed to annoy/concern the guy beside me while I laughed.

The other Dave (Heaton) arrived with Ryan (Keebler) which kicked ass. I hadn’t seen Keebler in at least 6 months. At some point Dave dropped his beer while we were standing and the bar cheered. The guy that cleaned it up didn’t seem to mind too much.

A lot of people asked about the new tats. It was pretty fun.

Getting food, and then home was an adventure. Dave (H) and I walked to the Pita Pit a few blocks over while Ryan drove Jen and Christine. When we got there, we discovered a giant line up so we decided to walk a few more blocks over to a Sub City; which was also very busy. The crowd was a little different but generally alright. My sub was good, I don’t know about Jen’s. She alluded to it being ok, but we were pretty drunk so maybe I heard it wrong. We walked back to where Ryan had parked and talked about who would get a ride. It wasn’t Jen and I, which sucked but also made sense. Getting a cab appeared to be impossible so we walked back to my place.

It took about 30-45 minutes. When we got here, we passed on having an after party smoke/drink because it was 4:20(!) but we were dead.

I slept till almost noon. Jen said I was snoring. We went for lunch at a bar/diner up a few blocks from my place called Eddies and I had a killer omelette. Jen’s meal also looked good; it was some kind of tomato sandwich. After we ate we ended up at Chris and Shauny’s for a few hours.

Last night rocked. Now for a quiet day before Christmas.
